'Stern' paper

This course dealt with the theory of digital media. We took a close look at various newspapers and analysed them closely. We examined their founding members, history, scandals and successes. The goals, the target audience, the financial backers, writing style and political orientation were also important characteristics to look at. Furthermore, we scrutinised the design structure of both print and online media. How do texts and pictures relate to each other? What different models are there? Furthermore, we dealt with the question of how the respective medium responded to the war in Afghanistan and informed their readers about the dramatic situation on the ground. Unfortunately, due to Corona, this course took place exclusively online, so we were not able to bring along a sample copy. Therefore, photos were included in the final paper. My aim was to reproduce all the information I had collected on the topic of „Stern“ in a layout similar to the magazine style.
